A while a go, some guy on campus told me he was going to sell me some magazines to help pay for battered women and pay for his trip to italy for a Toastmasters convention. fcken liar. it's been 9 weeks, i have no magazines, the 'costumer service' number is not working, and im pretty sure that Toastmasters (a convention for public-speaking phobics) is not in Italy. And also, homeboy WAS OBVIOUSLY NOT a public speaking phobic.

Today I googled the company's name :Platinum Sales, Inc. and found out that theyve been involved in a number of other scandals as well. FCK my life. I guess 40$ is a little price to pay for a tough lesson about money and trusting strangers. I totally could have avoided it had i actually read my reciept..even says the company isn't involved in any non-profit or charitable organization... Sighs. Another lesson learned about reading the fine print. My mother always warned me...but i just never learned.
